Cwtched by nature.

A sustainable smallholding and retreat nestled at the top of Gower’s Pwlldu Bay.

Welcome to Cliff Acre—a slower pace and a unique space to connect deeply with nature, the land, and yourself. Rooted in restoration, regeneration, and renewal, we offer more than just a beautiful place—we hold space for healing, creativity, and community.

Cliff Acre is owned and lovingly stewarded by twin sisters, Liz and Rachel Newell. Drawing on over 25 years of creative and agricultural experience in California, we’re transforming a smallholding on the Welsh Gower coast into a haven of sustainable food and energy production, community learning, and heartfelt hospitality.

Our offerings include workshops on sustainable land management & natural crafts, creative retreats, and nature-based escapes for those healing from mental health challenges and trauma. We provide a welcoming, affirming environment for anyone seeking a deeper connection to the natural world.
